An absolutely exquisite bank of eight small antique oak drawers, each featuring a striking geometric marquetry design with a mix of veneers, including walnut and rosewood. Beautifully raised on shaped bracket feet, this is a piece that offers both style and function in equal measure.
Condition Report
The drawers and carcass are in excellent condition. There is a very small loss of veneer on one of the front cross members, and a small bit of settlement on the left side, but is absolutely solid and both bearly noticeable. It’s likely the carcass was purpose-built to house these antique drawers, which may have been repurposed from another antique piece. In either case, a beautifully crafted and absolutely solid set of drawers.
