Early C20th Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Display/Drinks/Gin Cabinet
This is probably the closest I've ever got to upcycling an item. It was an early 20th century Edwardian inlaid mahogony display cabinet, and I'm pleased to say it still is! I've removed the unattractive green felt that was previously failing, and added cream faux leather shelf covering and a gorgeous rear paper that is reminiscent of the period, whilst still providing a modern aesthetic. This looks as good now as it ever did and would make a great drinks/gin cabinet. It is a very honest cabinet, with a few minor marks and blemishes, , but nothing that stands out, or detracts from the charm of the unit. I've tried to capture these as best as I can in the pictures. The cabinet is lockable and includes a key. Dimensions: Width: 609mm, (2' 0") Depth: 301mm, (1' 0") Height: 1310mm, (4' 4") Viewing is welcome in Sholing, Southampton.
