A striking and beautifully detailed early 20th-century, possibly late Victorian, overmantel or pier mirror with a bevelled glass plate set in a walnut frame. The oversized cornice features intricate egg-and-tongue detailing on the frieze, while the mirror is flanked by twin fluted columns, each raised on acanthus motifs potted in gadrooned urns. A truly elegant statement piece for any interior.
