A bold and handsome late Victorian mahogany chest of two short over three long drawers, standing firmly on bracket feet. The front is richly veneered in fine flame mahogany, set against a solid pine carcass. Original turned drawer pulls lend a touch of charm, while the proportions are generous without feeling heavy. A clean example that remains both practical and elegant.
Condition Report
A few minor marks to the top and a couple of tiny chips to the drawer fronts, all consistent with gentle use. The drawers run smoothly and the piece is altogether in excellent condition, ready for immediate use.
