Victorian Mahogany Barley Twist Mahogany Whatnot
Absolutely beautiful, circa 1830-1850, this is the best Victorian whatnot I've ever been the custodian of. Beautiful well aged mahogany, with the perfect level of wear, great colour and form. Three solid Mahogany shelves all supported on charming barley twist uprights, the top shelf has a shaped mahogany gallery, the middle shelf includes a drawer with two wooden knobs. All raised on delicate turned baluster feet with brass castors.
In excellent antique condition. Very few minor marks commensurate with its age. The lower tier has a small water mark - see photos, and each tier has a single settlement split, but neither of these are noticeable, nor do they stand out.
