Victorian Solid Mahogany Bed Post Standard Lamp

I love finding pieces like this, they have a history all of their own. This beautifully carved mahogany standard lamp was once a four poster bed but would have been converted to a lamp when four posters fell from fashion. I can't even begin to imagine all the things this post has seen. 

The lamp includes the shade pictures and is in excellent condition with all wear commensurate with its age.
