An intriguing and functional antique, this dumb waiter is an early Victorian piece with a distinctive triform table base resting on bun feet with enclosed castors. From the sturdy base, three turned columns support a veneered frieze and a pine circular top with a turned ovolo moulding. Above, two additional tiers sit on a single turned support, providing ample display or serving space. While these upper tiers are likely later additions, they have been executed with care, complementing the original structure beautifully. This versatile piece would make a wonderful plant stand or display unit.
Condition Report
Altogether in excellent antique condition with minor marks in line with its age. The veneer on the triform base has a minor bubble but remains solid.
