Pulled from a local estate, the gentleman handling the clearance remembered sitting in this very chair as a child during the 1970s - which feels entirely fitting for a piece like this.
A classic mid-century office staple, equally comfortable in a studio, study, or domestic interior. Ribbed black vinyl seat and back on a powder-coated tubular steel frame with shaped wooden armrests. Strong, utilitarian form with exactly the sort of honest design mid-century furniture does well.
Comfortable too — which perhaps explains why so many are about.
Condition Report
In excellent vintage condition. There is a barely noticeable circular impression to the seat where an object has rested for a prolonged period. Minor marks consistent with age and use.
