A beautifully made vintage studio pottery bowl, likely Japanese, finished in a terracotta body with a striking blue and copper swirl glaze. The interior is finished with an off-white glaze, decorated with delicate fractal Lichtenberg figures that give a unique organic depth to the piece. A practical size for serving udon or other noodle dishes, it also makes a fine decorative bowl in its own right.
Condition Report
In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. A small glaze imperfection is present on the underside, not affecting use or display.
