Traditional pinned mortice and tenon, panelled construction. Geometric carved front panels, foliate carved stiles and top rail, and a guilloche-style ‘S’ carved mullion. Two-plank top with original strap iron hinges. Solid and functional, with a hint of 17th-century gothic style.
Condition Report
Absolutely solid antique condition. The top has been battened. Lock mechanism missing. A couple of small holes in one base board, but structurally sound.
