Quite possibly the finest example of its type I’ve come across. This early 20th-century footstool features crisp bobbin-turned legs and stretchers, supporting a tightly woven twine seat in an intricate, decorative pattern. A wonderfully tactile and sculptural piece, both practical and visually striking.
Condition Report
In excellent vintage condition. The twine is tight with no sag, and the turned legs are solid and well-executed. Minor surface wear consistent with age, but nothing of note. A superb little stool with plenty of charm.
