A near pair of 19th-century stools, one in pine and the other in oak. Both of similar form, each with a pierced carry handle to the top.
The pine example shows pronounced wear and colour to the seat, while the oak stool is of slightly more refined construction, with visible medullary rays and pinned joinery.
Versatile pieces, suited to use as low seating or informal stands.
Condition Report
Both in excellent solid condition. One stool of slightly more rustic character. Clean and stable examples.
