19th-Century Dutch Marquetry Card Table
A 19th-century Dutch marquetry card table, richly inlaid throughout with floral decoration in boxwood and contrasting timbers. The fold-over top centres on an urn motif, surrounded by foliate detail and birds, with further floral pendants to the frieze.
The top opens to a baize-lined playing surface and is supported by rear gate legs, which also reveal a small drawer - a practical detail, neatly integrated. The table stands on fluted tapered legs, giving it a lighter feel than many examples of the type.
Condition Report
In excellent antique condition with wear commensurate with age. There is some minor historic movement to the top, visible through the marquetry, but this is entirely typical and the piece remains solid and usable. There are a few minor marks on the baize, and a couple of minor holes around the seam - very common with a baize of this age.

Returns
