An early 20th-century Japanese Imari porcelain plate with a scalloped edge, decorated with detailed hand-painted floral motifs in iron red, cobalt blue, and gilt highlights on a white porcelain ground.
The porcelain displays a small number of natural iron specks beneath the glaze, characteristic of traditional manufacture.
