Framed Ww1 British Soldier Portrait

A poignant early 20th-century photographic portrait of a British soldier, most likely from the First World War period. The soldier is dressed in full service uniform, complete with puttees and a peaked cap bearing a regimental badge. Captured in a relaxed garden setting. The photograph is presented in its original period ebonised frame, with a gilt slip and olive-toned mount, all in very good condition for its age.

Condition Report

The photograph has some age-related fading and a visible crack across the lower half, as expected with antique photographic prints. The frame remains sturdy with only minor surface wear and a few marks consistent with age.
