Late 19th-Century Japanese Meiji Bronze Vase
A late 19th-century Japanese Meiji-period bronze vase of lobed baluster form, decorated in high relief with sparrows perched among branches.
The vase has a high-waisted, handled neck raised on a domed pedestal base, with the decoration extending across the body.
Condition Report
In excellent antique “as found” condition. The vase has received a light dust only rather than a full polish. A few minor marks are present. The surface could be polished further according to preference.
