Pair Of Small Vintage Ebony Candlesticks

A finely turned pair of vintage candlesticks in real ebony — confirmed by the original stamp to the base. Each is constructed in three parts (base, stem, and sconce) which screw together on a wooden thread. When disassembled, the grain of the ebony is beautifully visible.

One capital has a historic repair — solid and well executed, though still visible due to the uniform black finish. The other is excellent. Both are solid, usable, and full of quiet charm.

Condition Report

One historic repair as noted. Minor age-related wear. Both candlesticks remain solid and practical. Available with or without the pictured candles — one of which has a small surface crack.
