A solid oak Turner’s chair dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, constructed with three stout turned legs united by turned lower stretchers. The arms are turned and subtly twisted, with a spindle-turned back typical of practical turner's chairs - of which, this is a straightforward, honest example: robust, functional, and exactly as one would expect from the form.

Condition Report

Excellent solid antique condition. A few historic repairs are present, likely carried out by the original maker or an early user. All add character without compromising strength or usability.

The photographs form part of the condition report, so please review them carefully. Further images or a video viewing can be provided on request. Viewings are welcome at our Southampton unit, strictly by appointment.
