A striking Victorian oak stool, reputedly from the Penwith district of Cornwall and said to be made from salvaged shipwreck timber - a claim supported by the weathered silvered surface and general character of the piece. The oak has been left untouched, with an honest, salt-softened patina.
Condition Report
Unrestored and as found. Some minor looseness around the joints, but Solid, stable, and full of coastal charm. Signs of age and use as expected.
