A grand Victorian sentry wardrobe in mahogany, featuring a central chest of two over five graduated drawers with turned pulls, flanked by two large sentry-box-style wardrobes. Each wardrobe houses a full-length arched mirror and encloses both a hanging rail and clothes pegs. Square cornices finish the wardrobes, all resting on a plinth base. Working locks throughout.
Condition Report
In excellent overall condition, with several historic veneer repairs at the top and bottom of the doors—most notably at the base. A couple of minor veneer losses to the plinth base, and a chip off the moulding on the chest section top (see photos). Structurally solid, with the expected scuffs and marks from years of movement, as is common with large antique furniture.
